Company: CSM is the largest supplier of bakery products worldwide. In order to reinforce its European market-leadership position, it is creating four Innovation Centers around Europe. For more information go to www.csm.nl Place: CSM Innovation Center Fats, Antwerp, Belgium. Role: -Define new projects for IC; lead project teams (including international Marketing and Sales) -Guide local fats/oils Development staff at European plants (no people management; this is an expert role) -Work with a longer-term perspective with key customers on defining what CSM products should do |

Experience/Skills required: . Significant practical experience in a suitable bakery margarines supplier or within a bakery margarines user capacity, potentially as external advisory senior Technical Applications Manager . Superior fats product application skills over a period of 10 years, preferably within the Bakery Fats et Margarines industry, or as a practical user within a large-scale fats-related bakery business . Detailed experience in the application of a wide range of bakery fats (solid and liquid) products e.g. margarines (cream, cake and pastry), shortenings, butter, mélanges, frying shortenings . Demonstrate detailed understanding of the interactions between bakery fats and other components in a baked product formulation covering e.g. cakes, pastries (short, laminated and Danish), cream fillings, fried products etc. . Demonstrate expert customer end-use (application) knowledge of the wide range of bakery fats, plus detailed understanding of customer (from Artisan, ISB and Plant) machinery and processes Languages: Fluency in English Studies: Food Technologist, Food Scientist or Chemist (minimum bachelors degree or equivalent) or Technical Baking experience in industry over a period of 10 years.
